During the launch of our brand's most recent marketing campaign, visual communication is crucial. A marketing strategy can be conveyed through various channels, and one effective method is by utilizing a Light Box. These Light Boxes present graphic compositions aesthetically in both interior and exterior spaces. However, achieving a flawless Light Box assembly between the aluminum profile frame and backlit fabric is paramount for a sleek, tight, and robust finish.
Flat Keders provide the optimal solution for achieving a tight and strong assembly into the edges of backlit fabric and aluminum profile frames. To ensure a smooth sewing experience, Flat Keders must be precisely sized and finished with a slippery surface. At our company, we specialize in designing and engineering the most advanced sealing solutions to ensure your products function efficiently.

Wide range of keder profiles made of PVC, TPE, Silicone.
Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Flat Keders offer several benefits compared to traditional keder materials like PVC or rubber. Some of these advantages include:
Flexibility: TPE is known for its flexibility and elasticity, allowing the keder to bend and adapt to various shapes and contours without cracking or breaking. This flexibility makes it easier to work with during installation and ensures a secure fit even around curves or corners.
Durability: TPE materials are highly durable and resistant to wear and tear, making them suitable for long-term use in outdoor applications or in environments with fluctuating temperatures and weather conditions. They are less prone to degradation from UV exposure or moisture compared to other materials.
Chemical Resistance: TPEs are generally more resistant to chemicals, oils, and solvents than other materials like PVC. This resistance helps maintain the integrity of the keder and prolong its lifespan, especially in industrial or commercial settings where exposure to harsh substances may occur.
Environmentally Friendly: TPEs are often considered more environmentally friendly than PVC or rubber due to their ability to be recycled and their reduced environmental impact during production. They are typically free from harmful chemicals such as phthalates and heavy metals, making them a more sustainable choice for applications where eco-friendliness is a priority.
Low Friction: TPE Flat Keders often have a low coefficient of friction, allowing for smoother insertion and removal from keder tracks or channels. This reduces the risk of damage to the fabric or frame during installation and ensures a tighter, more secure fit.
To use flat keder in light boxes, follow these steps:
Fabrication: Ensure that the fabric graphic for the light box is properly sized and finished with a sleeve or pocket along the edges to accommodate the flat keder.
Insertion: Insert one edge of the flat keder into the channel or groove on the frame of the light box. This may require some pressure or assistance from a keder insertion tool to ensure a snug fit.
Stretching: With one edge of the flat keder secured in place, stretch the fabric graphic across the frame of the light box. As you stretch the fabric, insert the remaining edges of the flat keder into the corresponding channels on the frame.
Tensioning: Once all edges of the fabric graphic are secured with flat keder, ensure that the fabric is evenly tensioned across the frame to eliminate wrinkles and achieve a smooth appearance.
Trimming: Trim any excess fabric and keder from the edges of the light box frame for a clean finish.
By using flat keder in light boxes, you can achieve a professional and streamlined appearance for your fabric graphics while ensuring secure attachment to the frame.
